Piranha stage
- To build on the swimmers, endurance in freestyle and backstroke while holding good technique.
- To introduce a safety stroke lifesaving backstroke and perform it in a strong relaxed manner.
- Breaststroke kick to be introduced as a general movement.

- Freestyle – introduce alternate breathing
- Freestyle 50 metres with fins (show good technique and performed in a slow and relaxed manner)
- Freestyle 25 metres without fins (must hold reasonably good technique and performed in a slow relaxed manner)
